Thus ATEPA Group, nourished this vision and sat in its role of precursor, with the technical support of its partners of the emergent countries (India, China, Brazil) played a part of foreground, beside the Government of Senegal, in the design and the installation in Senegal of very first west Africans “cybercases”. This innovative concept puts technology at the service of the intellectual, social and economic emancipation of the African populations. It allows the opening of designed buildings in a way simple, but functional, in all the areas of Senegal, in particular in rural areas, opened to the entire population. Animated by young people “cybermen” or “cyberwomen”, the cybercases are at the service of the populations which find there a tool data processing initiation, distance learning, dialogue with the world and familiarisation with the numerical environment.
As of today, Group ATEPA, in close cooperation with other foreign private partners and the State, launches out in the design of a “cybervillage”, pole of competences, services and of investment, dedicated to the public and private companies, national and international, of the information technology sector.
